Our Innovative Online Booking Process is Quick, Easy and Confidential!

Please allow me the chance to explain our innovative online booking process.
After we have had a chance to discuss your time requirements and the different options you want included in your package, I’ll email you a link to the written proposal. This email will also contain a website address along with your user password which you will need to access your personal website to manage your account and monitor the production progress, once you have accepted the proposal.
In the proposal, I will present you with 1 or more suggested packages and their listed prices for you to choose from. Each package will list all options and include a schedule of payments. The first payment is considered your non-refundable retainer of $500, required to reserve your date, and is therefore due upon accepting the proposal. Unless we had previously discussed a non-interest payment plan past the wedding date, there will be 2 additional payments. Fifty (50%) percent of the balance will be due 8 weeks prior to the wedding date, while the remaining balance will be due 4 weeks prior to the wedding date.
Once you have selected your preferred package, you will be given an additional chance to select any new or last minute add-on options if desired before accepting the proposal. There will be a box for you to place an x, and you will need to type your full name thereby indicating that you agree to the proposal. The proposal identifies your computers IP address and thereby makes it a legal document.
After accepting the proposal, you’ll need to log into your account to pay the retainer (first invoice). You’ll go to your personal website and enter the password provided in the email you received with your proposal. Once logged in, click on the “Billing and Legal” tab and you’ll find your invoices. Simply click on the first invoice to make your payment online using any credit card of bank card. Once we receive notification that the first payment has been made, we will block out your date, and it shall be considered reserved. When it comes time to make the remaining payments, just follow the same procedures.
The on-line proposal is broken down into 5 sections as listed below:
Section 1: As you look over this proposal, you’ll notice that in the left side-bar is an index displaying what section of the proposal you are currently at. Click the “continue” button at the bottom of the section to review the offered packages.
Section 2: will present the different packages for comparison. Once you’ve decided which package is the best one for you, select it and you’ll be taken to section 3 where you can choose any additional last-minute add-ons that you desire.
Section 3: Select any additional options you desire, by selecting the item’s quantity. Don’t worry about inadvertently selecting an add-on option that may already be included in your package. If that happens, you’ll be alerted by an on-screen pop up message and given the chance to change your mind by simply re-selecting the number “0″ for the quantity. That reminds me, if you have your web browser configured to not allow popups, you may want to deactivate that feature for this site or this session so you’ll see the warnings if they are trying to pop up.
Section 4: will present you with the shoot details. If you see anything that needs a correction or blank lines that need data please provide the needed information at this time so all information in the contract will be correct or complete.
Section 5: will once again allow you to review the package you just selected along with the payment schedule and finally the contract itself. At this point if you decide you would like to change your mind go back to section 3 to select a different package, (or maybe you want to keep this package and select more, less or different options) you can do so by clicking on the “Make Changes” button located just underneath the Total Package Price displayed in red at the top right side of this section.
Caution: Don’t confuse the “Make Changes” button with the “Request Changes” button in the left side-bar. The “Request Changes” link will actually void the proposal and ask what changes you would like us to make to the proposal itself. The proposal will then be canceled (i.e you will not be able to access it again) and we’ll then need to draw up a new proposal.
Clicking the “Make Changes” button will take you back to section 2 where you can once again review the different packages offered and insure the package of your choice is selected, and likewise continue once again to section 3 where you can make any changes to the add-on items you may have just selected. You need to be aware that any items which you may have previously selected via its quantity indicator are still selected. Returning back to section 2 from section 5 does not reset everything, it just allows you to change anything that you previously selected.
After you have completed all of your selections and once you agree to the proposal, you will need to place an X in the box indicating that you accept the proposal, and Type your Name. This is considered your electronic signature. The contract displays your computers IP address and thereby making this a legal contract.
Keep in mind that we book on a first pay basis. So if someone else has inquired about the same date and has an open proposal at the same time as you, the person who signs the proposal and pays the retainer first is the person that is awarded the date.

Choosing a Professional Videographer

Remember the old saying; You get what you pay for? Or how about; If it seems too good to be true, then it probably is? Well, you’ll want to keep that in mind when selecting a professional wedding videographer.
How much should you expect to pay for a professional wedding videographer? Well, about the same as you would expect to pay for a professional photographer. However, that word “professional” gets kicked around a quite a bit doesn’t it? So then, how do you know if you’re really choosing a professional videographer, or just a “want-a-be” professional? Well, for starters, you look at and compare their work, just as you do when selecting a professional photographer. Now If they don’t seem have much work to look at, well that should be a yellow flag. Don’t just settle to view a collage of the videographers “best shots” arranged in a demo reel, if you have to ask, then ask to view some real wedding videos, like the ones they actually give their clients.
Here’s just a few aspects you should keep in mind when comparing videographers work? First of all, pay close attention to the picture quality, is the scene to dark or too bright? Is there too much or not enough contrast in the overall scene? Are the colors crisp and do they pop out of the picture or are they just sort of dull and lifeless? If so, these are indictors that the videographer doesn’t take much time if any in post production to color correct his or her work. Also you’ll want to watch out for those video effects and transitions. Does the videographer use them discreetly or does the video cry out “THIS IS A VIDEO EFFECT, or THIS IS A TRANSITION, DO YOU SEE ME?”
The audio is just as important and sometimes more so than the video. Can you hear the bride and groom recite their vows clearly, or is there a lot of background noise or echo indicating that improper or insufficient audio equipment was used when recording the event. Perhaps you don’t hear any natural audio in the videographers samples at all, that may indicate that the audio is very poor and they’re trying to hide that fact. That’s why I like to display various wedding edits from each wedding in my video gallery (such as the short ceremony edit) so you can hear the quality of the captured audio.
You should also expect a professional videographer to display their work on their website, or invite you to their studio to see their work in person. Since I work out of my home studio, I choose to show my work here and on my website in the video gallery where you’ll find more than 90 different client videos from more than 25 different weddings. I’ve even provided you with an index to the video gallery, found here on the blog, to identify the specific type of clips from the associated wedding and reception venues available for viewing. You’ve only got one chance to do this right. You’ve carefully budgeted for everything else, don’t make the mistake of cutting the budget short on your wedding video. It along with your photos are the only things that will last after the cake is eaten, and the last dance has finished.

You might be pleasantly surprised just what you CAN do on a tight budget!
All weddings are different, some need little coverage, while others need lots of coverage. That’s why we no longer use the “traditional package” approach in our marketing. If you’ve done any shopping around at all for a videographer, then you know what I’m talking about. Some have so many different options thrown in this and that package, that even they get confused. Additionally, I can’t really give you an accurate quote on a package, until I know more about what it is you need.
Package Structure: We provide 3 levels of coverage. Our basic level consists of two packages, the Ceremony Only, and our Basic Package. The intermediate level of coverage is found in our Bonze Package. Then we have additional packages in our Extended level which not only provides additional hours of wedding day coverage, but they also offer Enhancement Credits ranging from $500 to $2000 depending on the package purchased. These Enhancement Credits are then used to purchase add-on options of your choice giving you total control over customizing your package to best fit your budget.

All Weddings are shot with 3 High Definition (HD) cameras, and 2 videographers, the footage is then edited and mastered in HD to insure the highest quality exist when we down convert the HD master to Standard Definition (SD) for delivery on DVD and encode the HD master for authoring to Blu-ray as required, depending upon the package you’ve purchased.
The HD Blu-ray Upgrade is also provided with all packages consisting of 8 or more hours of coverage. You’ll receive 3 Blu-ray copies with customized pop-up and static menus as well as customized labeling and packaging.
